Hi I'm Siphephile!

I travel the African continent, narrating the untold stories of African tribes, and other ethnic diversities, based on the effects of global warming, climate change, modernization and digitalization through the lens and I participate in exhibitions and discussions. I’m an award winning photographer with the European Union dubbed “Swaziland Now” Photography competition in 2014, through the MTN Swaziland Bushfire my image was entitled Political Activist. Through hard work and determination, the African News Agency appointed me as part of the leading female photographers within the African continent.

Working with publications such as: The Cape Times, Cape Argus, The Times, The Star, New York Times, African Independent and Pretoria News. Upon taking park in the Standard bank Luju Festival in August 2018 which was a huge success, In the same year I took part in the 35Awards International Photography competition, my submitted artwork entitled Hope became part of the top 1900, where I reached second stage. A total of 392 000 photos were submitted by 112 268 people from 172 countries.

My latest exhibition was at AGOG Gallery Maboneng, Johannesburg hosted by NaroWbi events on the 12th of December 2020, entitled the Last Defenders which lengthy interpreted my African excursions. Group exhibition ON THE September 11 2021 at Denzil’s and Jo gallery Melville, entitled HERITAGE.
